A History of Excellence
Lambda Chi Alpha was founded on November 2, 1909, at Boston University by Warren A. Cole. From those humble beginnings, we have grown into one of the largest and most respected fraternities in North America, with over 300,000 initiated members.
The Zeta Rho Chapter at Florida State University carries this proud tradition forward in Tallahassee. Our chapter has produced four FSU Student Body Presidents, NFL legends like Fred Biletnikoff and Ron Sellers, and countless leaders in business, government, and the arts.
In Spring 2025, Lambda Chi Alpha returned to Florida State with renewed vigor. Now in 2026, with two classes of initiated brothers and a third class on their journey to initiation, we continue building on our legacy of excellence, brotherhood, and leadership at FSU.
